TrainACE supports Brainy Camps & Companion Bridge campaign 2018TrainACE has been operating out of Greenbelt, MD and Ashburn, VA since 2001. In that time we have helped thousands of people throughout Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, advance their careers in the IT Industry.

So, at the end of the year, we like to give back to the communities we live and work in. Each year we chose local, registered, non-profit charities with whom we can make a difference and then donate a percentage of our sales to them. This year we are working with the Brainy Camps Association and Companion Bridge.

For every enrollment in an instructor-led class during December 2018, using the discount code TAGIVESBACK18, we will give you a 15% discount and donate $50 of your tuition to these two charities.

If you wish to contribute to these two great causes through your purchases, use the code "TAGIVESBACK18" at check out, or when you call in to enroll (301) 220 2802.

Brainy Camps Association

TrainACE supports Brainy Camps campaign 2018Brainy Camps Association, a 501(c) (3), is a consortium of residential and family camps, retreats and services for children with chronic health conditions. With the help of over 150 volunteers, the organization serves more than 500 children each year. Brainy Camps’ mission is to help youth with chronic health conditions live well and reach their potential. Through weeklong condition-specific, and support groups and leadership programs, Brainy Camps offer children the opportunity to meet peers, mentors, and counselors with the same conditions, learn skills in medical self-management and become advocates for themselves and others.  Need-based scholarships are available.

Since its founding in 1994, Brainy Camps has expanded to host condition-specific camps for children with a range of health conditions, including epilepsy, neurofibromatosis, sickle cell anemia, diabetes, heart disease, Down syndrome, hemiplegic/diplegic cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, high functioning autism spectrum disorder and Tourette syndrome. Brainy Camps also offers a family camp for young children with type 1 diabetes, a camp for chronically ill youth transitioning to adulthood, a leadership program and peer counselor training.

Companion Bridge

TrainACE supports Companion Bridge campaign 2018Companion Bridge is a 501(c)3 organization that provides pet owners with a web platform for online fundraising as well as a resource page for owners to find information about specialists and help for special needs animals. We are 100% volunteer staffed and 100% donation funded. The funds we raise are paid directly to veterinarians and have helped pay for emergency surgeries, cancer treatments, mobility aids, and other medical needs that would not have been available otherwise. Companion Bridge also provides resource referrals and maintains a general fund that can help in emergencies when there is no time to fundraise or when a campaign falls short of its goal.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to provide a loving and supportive community for people to connect, share, and assist one another on behalf of their companion animals.  Our purpose is to address, educate, and provide online space to raise funds for people with either special needs companion pets or animals requiring significant financial, medical attention that would otherwise be euthanized.
