The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Configuring Office SharePoint Server 2007 certification demonstrates a thorough understanding of the skills and knowledge required to successfully administer Office SharePoint Server 2007. Employees that hold this certification are typically employed as Business Application Administrators (BAAs), Web Administrators and Server Administrators who are engaged in the planning, design, and selection of line-of-business (LOB) applications such as Office SharePoint Server 2007 in conjunction with internal business customers. Their primary responsibility is the deployment, customization, management, and support of LOB applications. They routinely perform regular maintenance to monitor the performance of these applications, as well as troubleshoot and resolve application problems.
The prerequisites for this class include administrative experience with Windows Server 2003, Internet Information Server and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005, as well as one year experience with the configuration of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. Students should also have an understanding of Microsoft .NET 2.0, internet security and security in relation to SharePoint Server 2007.
This training course includes Microsoft Official Courseware, a test voucher for Microsoft exam 70-630 and practice test software for the 70-630 exam. ACE's VUE testing center is open 5 days a week for your testing convenience.
1 Exam required for certification. We teach the SharePoint introduction course as a 40 hour class (5 days). Courseware is included and exam vouchers can also be included.
