The Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) certification is the known standard to validate one's skills in the 2007 Microsoft Office application as well as Windows Vista. The MCAS is the successor to what was the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). We offer open enrollment Office training classes in Northern Virginia and Maryland (Ashburn VA and Greenbelt MD).
The MCAS proves that one has obtained the skills that organizations and agencies rely on. Candidates who pass the exams have proven that they are the most qualified to work in an office environment most efficiently and productively.
Furthermore, organizations that screen for the MCAS certification as the tool for employee skills measurement in hiring, promoting, identifying and retaining staff members will benefit from a streamlined recruitment process, greater individual productivity, and increased employee satisfaction.
This entirely hands-on training class helps to develop advanced skills with Microsoft Office business desktop software. The Microsoft Office class is a beginning to high level, completely interactive training class that teaches the key elements of user-ability in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Vista on the 2007 platform. The total program is 80 hours in length and each individual class is 16 hours (two days). This program is very engaging, entirely hands on and extremely essential for streamlining your Microsoft Office 2007 overall user skills.

According to Microsoft the majority of successful Microsoft Certified Application Specialist candidates have had more than one year experience using the program in an applied setting and have used a combination of the following:
