The Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Support Technician (MCITP Enterprise Support Technician) recognizes proven ability to troubleshoot and manage end users on the Microsoft Windows Vista ® operating system. This certification is taking over for the MCDST.
The MCITP Enterprise Support Technician Certification is best fit for the following:

The MCITP helps to provide customer service ability as well as resolve hardware or software operation and application problems for the end user based in a Microsoft Windows Vista ® desktop operating system environment.
Courses included in the Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Support Technician (MCITP Enterprise Support Technician) Curriculum:
1) Windows Vista Configuring - This module provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install and configure Microsoft Windows Vista on stand-alone and client computers that are part of a workgroup or domain.
2) Supporting and Troubleshooting Applications on a Windows Vista Client for Enterprise Support Technicians. - This program provides students who are new to Microsoft Windows® Vista with the knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot basic problems end users will face related to configuring and maintaining applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer and other applications that run on a Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System.
