ITIL® V3 Foundations Bridge
ACE’s v3 Foundations Bridge course is a breakdown of the changed and updated fundamentals of Information Technology Service Management per the global Infrastructure Library. The ITIL v2 to v3 bridge training will prepare students to pass the short bridge exam at the end of the class.
Course Information
This course provides instruction and lecture covering the new and changed aspects of the ITIL v3 curriculum versus those previously found in v2. The most important change is the Service Lifecycle perspective introduced in ITIL v3, including:
- Service Strategies: assures IT strategy maps back to overall business aims and expectations
- Service Design: assures new or changed business requirements are followed with development of a service solution designed to meet the documented needs of the business
- Service Transition: concerned with managing change, risk & QA, ensures effective deployment of service designs so that service operations can manage the services and infrastructure
- Service Operation: supporting the daily business as usual activities of the services and infrastructure
- Continual Service Improvement: assures on-going improvement of all ITSM alignment, lifecycle phases and ITIL process
