About Our CWNA Training
The CWNA training course instructs students in WLAN ideas and concepts. This course is intended for individuals looking to prepare themselves for work in IT. CWNA training prepares students to take exam PW0-104, which covers the broad topics of networks, LANs and wireless signals. This wireless network certification guarantees employers of one's proficiency in installation, management and troubleshooting of wireless networks, maintaining security and standards of wireless networks, and an understanding of IEEE 802.11 architecture and wireless site surveys.

The Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification training focuses on learning how to master the designing, installing and administering of a wireless system that is both unique and advantageous for any new or existing business. Important skills such as wireless installations and network configurations are taught through problem solving models and within a team-work atmosphere.
Using the Wi-Fi standard 802.11 network architecture, students learn how to perform professional site surveys through training in defining the different types of RF site surveys, completing spectrum analysis and predictive modeling. Instruction includes how to recognize the deployment requirements, handle survey tools and perform accurate site surveys.
Radio frequency technology classes address the fundamentals of RF propagation, modulation, coding patterns, losses, channels and bandwidths and their interaction. Understanding the output regulations behind RF power is also included both on the local, regional and international level. Some necessary RF math is included for dealing with units of measure. Antenna concepts class explains the types of antennas used with 802.11 systems. Proper implementation and safety issues are addressed as well as the accessories, cables and connectors that are part of an installation procedure.
A thorough grasp of the available LAN software and hardware equipment and products is included in the training class. Bridges, access points, routers and desktop utilities are just a few examples. The CWNA program curriculum also includes understanding the standards and organization of this profession. Students are introduced to the organizations behind the 802.11 procedures and study the standards and amendments most commonly used. They are also taught compliance enforcement and consequences.
Security protection within wireless LAN systems is a serious concern. Course instruction underscores the importance of adequate security, current policies, procedures to guarantee security and mechanisms that are available and work well within this framework.
CWNA students learn access point administration, stand-alone procedures and wireless bridges. This involves choosing specific radio network roles. Understanding power sourcing equipment and the efficiency and method of delivery of PoE is included as is a basic introduction to protocol analysis in dealing with data, control and management frames and transmission rates. The CWNA certification program is a thorough preparation for entry level positions in the expanding world of wireless communication.
